The Liquid Retina Display still has all the features you expect, such as P3 wide color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil (sold separately).
Enjoy Center Stage on this iPad Air, thanks to the Ultra Wide 12MP front camera. Center Stage automatically pans to keep everyone in view as they move around. When others join in, the camera automatically detects them and smoothly zooms out to include them in the frame, allowing for a more engaging FaceTime experience. The rear Wide 12MP camera can record 4K video and take sharp photos.
For connectivity, the iPad Air features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0. The iPad Air also supports 5G mobile broadband, allowing you to connect from anywhere you get a signal from the carrier of your choice (data plans sold separately). Apple has updated the USB Type-C port to the USB 3.1 Gen 2 standard, allowing for speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. Touch ID is integrated into the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to provide a safe and secure way to unlock your iPad Air as well as log into apps and use Apple Pay.
