Characterized by its expansive zoom range, the red PIXPRO AZ421 Digital Camera from Kodak is a versatile point-and-shoot offering both stills and video capabilities. Using a 16.15MP 1/2.3" CCD sensor, it can record high-resolution stills and HD 720p video with a sensitivity range of ISO 80-1600, which can be expanded to ISO 3200 to create 4MP stills. Balancing the imaging capabilities is a wide-angle to super-telephoto 42x optical zoom lens, which provides a 24-1008mm equivalent focal length range, and uses optical image stability to produce sharper images when shooting handheld. The ergonomic body design also incorporates a 3.0" 230k-dot LCD monitor, a pop-up flash, and is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be conveniently charged in-camera.
